Our Weekly Newsletter
Hi Folks! We have a positively beautiful assortment for you today and with all of the new fabric, we are ready to LEAP into spring! It's a good thing we have an extra day this month because you might need a whole day to peruse what's new...
Riviera from Hawthorne Threads
For our newest in house collection, we invite you to jet-set to the Riviera, where the sea meets the vibrant flavors of French couture, culture, and of course cuisine. From Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse to Edith Wharton and Grace Kelly, this European jewel has captivated artists for decades, and we think you'll be similarly inspired by its glamorous charm. Divided into two color palettes, Cote d'Azur and Mediterranean, the collection at once plays homage to the jeweled coastline itself, as well as the adjacent cool blue waters. Since one can't exist without the other, many of the colors overlap. So while you can use them as distinct palettes, the groupings also live in harmony, just as the waves wash against the shore.
Planned Tablerunner in the Cote d'Azur Palette, tutorial from Sew 4 Home
We've already sewn up a variety of projects with this collection, and are ready to "cook up" a veritable potpourri of projects for the kitchen, living room, and wardrobe! The apron above is available as a quick and easy Project Panel, one for each palette. The Mug Rug shown in the poster above follows a tutorial from Play Crafts. We've also sewn up some lovely Pot Holders, taking inspiration from this tutorial from Martha Stewart. And as you can see, we also have a plan for a Table Runner, using a tutorial from Sew 4 Home. Finally, my daughter just loves her new Criss Cross Top. The reversible pattern from Whimsy Couture offers a fun opportunity to enjoy two shirts in one. Be sure to follow us on Instagram for more sewing inspiration for Riviera! #RivieraFabric
