BuddhiBox Yoga Subscription Box Review – January 2016
BuddhiBox is a monthly box meant to enhance yoga practice and encourage healthy living. BuddhiBox is $30.95/month for a curated mix of 4-6 samples and full size products. They also offer a sample size box for $11.95/month. BuddhiBox ships via USPS on the 10th of each month. This is a great box for anyone that is new to yoga or even those who are dedicated yogis. And the box has some really cool designs.
Anahata Bracelet – Levals ($21): This handmade bracelet is made with Green Aventurine, which inspires creativity and courage. It also has some Lepidolite stones, which enhance self-love, patience and optimism. And also, it includes some Rudraksha beads, which attract harmony, health and prosperity. I felt a surge when I put it on. You know what’s going to be my favorite bracelet for a while…
Everyday Tote – North Detail ($14): This lightweight cotton tote is so easy to fold and carry with you for shopping or other activities, especially with it’s fun and inspiring messages. They also include a 20% off coupon.
Herbal Zap Sample ($22): This Ayurvedic herbal supplement, which was developed by doctors and clinically tested, contains 14 herbal extracts long valued for their healing power to aid in digestion, elimination of natural toxins and immune health. The herbs are sustainably and ethically grown and there are no fillers or artificial ingredients.
Kiwi Mango Body Wash 2oz – Hemp Nation ($18 full size): This smells soooo good! It is made with 100% pure hemp seed oil and antioxidant-rich pomegranate extract. It is paraben-free, gluten free and THC drug-free. It leaves your skin soft, smooth and supple, prevents free radicals and renews your skin’s radiance. I can’t wait to try this.
Journal – Insight Editions ($18.95): This is my favorite item. This perfectly sized leatherette features a painting of Ganesha by Indra Sharma. I love Ganesha. The pages repeat Ganesha like a mantra over and over every time you see the water mark on the bottom right corner of the page. There is a pocket in the back, 192 pages of archival paper. Also, Insight Editions, in association with Roots of Peace, will plant two trees for each tree used in the manufacturing of Insights Journals.
Lavender Lime Body Balm ($15): This balm is made with six simple ingredients (Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Lavender Oil and Lime Oil), and the oils used are pure essential oils. The balm can be used to soften dry skin, elbows or cracked feet. This is perfect for the Winter in NYC!
Tadasana Mountain Pose Card: The card provides a concise overview of the pose both spiritually and physically and it also includes a “How to:” section.
Roasted Tomato Soup Recipe by The Wellness Gypsy-Lindsay LaPaugh: Am looking forward to trying it out soon.

A percentage of boxes sold by BuddhiBox during the month of January will benefit Second Chance Dog Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to saving homeless dogs. The organization rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes dogs primarily from local San Diego shelters as well as from Baha California Mexico.
January’s BuddhiBox total is approximately $108.95. BuddhiBox has an interesting assortment of products that are both practical and useful. It’s pretty cool that they donate a portion of their proceeds to charity.
