Mind = Blown

I know I’ve told you guys before about my brother-in-law and what an amazing painter he is. Because you guys are memory-challenged (seriously, guys, do something about that) – here. He and his father are incredible. And this time he did something that completely blows my mind. Let me give you the back story. My sister-in-law just opened her own hair studio and the place she’s leasing is a little hoopty. Needless to say, lots of work is planned. But materials aren’t cheap, so things need to be done little by little. Obviously. Here’s an example of what they’re dealing with:

Someone thought it was perfectly acceptable to patch tile with a completely different tile. And by “patch,” I mean not even completely cover over. Ay yi yi. So, until she is able to install new floors, her husband did this:

Guys…that’s not tile. IT’S FAUX PAINTED TO MATCH THE TILE!! He just built up the floor to the same level and then painted it. Like I said, mind = blown. And I had to share.
