6 months (and some cute photos).

yesterday’s post wasn’t as fun as today’s! Hazel is officially half a year old and is doing nearly all the things a healthy 6 month old should be doing despite her diagnosis with cortical dysplasia.

she coos, flaps all of her arms and legs around when she gets really excited, rolls over (but only if she really has to, we are working on it), can pull herself up to a sitting position when we are holding her, can pass toys from one hand to the other pretty easily, loves playing on her mat with dangling toys, squeals and smiles in delight, and continues to eat and sleep like a champ.

at her checkup today, she weighed 16 lbs 4 oz and the doctor said she is doing great!
