just a quick update on Hazel and her post-operative recovery:
she’s still doing great with no seizures and is rolling back and forth and all over the room. she’s a little behind on her motor abilities (aka crawling), but she will be seeing the physical therapist and speech therapist next week so they can assess what resources she might need. i’m not that worried about it at this point as she’s definitely improving drastically each day/week.
she’s sitting unassisted for long periods of time and the other kids think that is so fun to get to really “play” with her. she loves to just sit with them and pretend to be part of the game. Brother even had her being the baby bird in his “nest” the other day!
Hazel went in the pool yesterday for the first time and really loved it! she splashed and squealed as she watched the other kids swimming around. we are continuing to thank God for her healing and continued improvements!
