LUSH Launch New Scents ft. Snow Fairy!

Today LUSH launched their new collection of five fragrances celebrating their most loved shower scents. The line up includes Snowcake, Rose Jam, Ponche, Calacas and Snow Fairy. It goes without saying that Snow Fairy will no doubt have been the most anticipated and will sell out instantly! These liquid perfumes are packaged within clear bottles, they're very basic but in a way pay real homage to classic luxurious fragrance packaging. I'm not sure whether they will be pour-cap or spritz-released, we will have to wait and see.
The official scent breakdown is as follows: Snowcake: Sweet marzipan scent, reminders of pastry, macaroons and almonds, whisps of blackcurrant and rose. Rose Jam: A floral fusion of rose absolute and geranium, sweet crisp undertones. Ponche: Refreshing and juicy, bursting with energy. Notes of citrus and exotic oils. Calacas: Fruity little number with lime and jelly beans deepened by Frankincense Snow Fairy: Pear drops, candy floss and dolly mixtures, a fluffy pink journey of a fragrance.
I think it's a real shame that these fragrances aren't available in stores, I think fragrances need to be smelt in person and on the skin to see how it reacts to your natural pH so you get the full scent experience and know if it's right for you. I'm hoping that these scents are so similar to their respective shower gels that if you've used them before you'd just know you'll love it. I know I'll love Snow Fairy and I suspect I'd love Snow Cake too, but having never smelt or tried Snow Cake I won't order it just based on a description.
Snow Fairy has become the scent of Winter and Christmas, it flies off the LUSH shelves every year and sells out by Christmas. It's become a staple for any gumdrop, bubblegum, sugar loving shower junkie thanks to it's stunning (but very overpowering) sugar drop scent and bright pink, glittery formula.
Scents made with oils like these LUSH scents may leave a slightly dewy finish on your skin to begin with but it should sink in quickly, I personally opt for fragrances with oils in them because the scent is so much truer, stronger and lasts longer.
I just bought Snow Fairy and will review it as soon as it comes in the post…I can't wait for it to arrive! My top tip when buying this fragrance is to stock up on the complimentary shower gel too, if you use the two together you will get double the scent-power and a much longer lasting fragrance. If only it came in a body lotion...
LUSH Scents retail for between £23 and £30 each, available only and exclusively on the LUSH website.
