Suckin' on my titties: Peaches at IndigO2

Amidst the millions of softly-spoken-plinky-plonky-acoustic-guitar-yielding- singer-songwriters that are two a penny these days, there are luckily still a few women performers that aren't afraid to get their cocks out in public and give it some large ting on stage! And last night the wife and I headed over to The Sundance Film Festival at the IndigO2 to see one such tour de force: the uber-amazingly-talented-hugely-inspirational-piss-your-pants-good Peaches. I will try and eloquently describe how frickin talented this woman is without resorting to expletives that would make even your dad cry, but I can't guarantee it.
Doing part DJ set, part live performance, Peaches owned the stage as usual, rocking a multitude of kick-ass outfits including multi-breasted-nipple-adorned shoulder piece, inflatable sumo costume, werewolf mask and hairy tribal skull ensemble. Joining her for our viewing pleasure were two of her incredibly talented lady friends who aided in the entertainment through donning various subversive guises - picture randy, bum licking unicorns, dildo sporting ponies, a bible burning bishops and some slutty, Victorian prostitutes. Fuck yes.
I always think of Peaches as being a performance artist, but last night we discovered how much of an incredibly good singer she actually is too; her cover of Tina Turner's 'Private Dancer' was spine-tinglingly brilliant. Support came from the incredible Feral is Kinky who blew my mind with her mix of lickle ragamuffin rhymes and political poetry. Can't wait to hear more from her. Charlie le Mindu and DJ Matrona also did sets to please the ear holes.

All together a fucking brilliant night. We caught the tube back awash with inspiration and Peaches' dirty lyrics still on our tongues. £1.60 for a portion of dirty cheesy chips on the way home was the perfect way to end a classy evening.
