Hello, my friends. How are you doing today?
I am still busy with work, but I am also trying to have some fun with the kids. In fact, I am doing all I can to entertain myself because my grandfather is very sick at this moment. Today is the 1st anniversary of my grandmother’s passing and my grandfather is critical condition. This is not unexpected, we knew he was sick since the end of last year, but he was okay until a week ago.
My grandparents are like parents to me and I am dealing with all of this focusing on my faith and on my family. I couldn’t deal with this otherwise and to be honest, all that I want right now is that my grandfather doesn’t suffer. At certain point, you realize that you can’t be selfish and ask more than what you already got in this life. I had the Blessing to have my grandparents with me for so many years, for so many memories. I can’t ask more to God. It’s painful to get to this point, but your love has to be bigger than your need.
I am talking to him daily and I am trying to pass all the love and gratitude that I can. I know this is the moment for me to say everything I need to say, but what makes me happy is that, if I look back, I can see myself telling to both of them how much I loved and were grateful for having them in my life. I feel that I have learned since from a young age to appreciate the love and protection they always offered to me.
This is why I often say that we need to tell how much we love the important people in our lives. It’s never too late to tell it to them until it is, and even then, you can always send your love through your prayers.
I’m feeling strong at this moment. I am praying and I know that when the time comes, my grandparents will no longer be separated.
My mom is taking care of him. I know he’s in good hands. My mom is truly an angel… I don’t know how many people she has helped in this life. She’s truly amazing.
My sister is also there as much as she can and she is doing all in her power to keep him comfortable and feeling loved.
If you can, please send your prayers, thoughts and good energy to my grandfather. I know he needs it.
On a different note, I want to thank you all for faithfully being here everyday. And, also for sharing my work with your friends, your family or with your social media followers. I thank you all for always being here for me and with me. I know how Blessed I am for having you guys in my life.
