Cabinetry & Refrigerator (on the right): Fully integrated Sub-Zero Freezer – Refrigerator Columns with applied faux door and drawers to follow the lines of the adjacent cabinetry. White Marble: Kitchen features Namibia Bright White marble countertop, backsplash wall and coffee center. Slabs were selected for their soft, clean bright white color and soft “Natural Linen” colored veining.

White shiplap dining room walls painted in Sherwin Williams Pure White – Sherwin Williams Pure White is the best white paint color for shiplap in my opinion. It’s very crisp and works well with any hardwood flooring, dark or light.
Ceiling paint color is custom – matched to a pale washed linen fabric.
Lighting: Ironware International, custom iron “Ulla” Chandelier.

Home Information by the designer Robyn Hogan from Robyn Hogan Home Design:
A little history about this home: “My southern vernacular home, was a project of love, designed and built on the bank of the Wando River, on Daniel Island, South Carolina, for myself and my family. My plans were to have a home to go back to, in Southern California. As the project came close to completion, I knew I would be returning “home”. “Home is where the heart is.”
I was the Design Coordinator for the entire project, site planning to finished landscape and covered dock. It was such fun, and a complete departure from my Southern California French Mediterranean – Spanish Revival – California Beach House – Cottage experiences. I loved it!
– For several months, I worked closely with my architects Jim Strickland and Aaron Daily, at Historical Concepts, to bring to life the home I had envisioned for my family.
– Max Crosby Construction, worked patiently and tirelessly to bring the project to life.
– Sheila Wertimer, my landscape architect, went above and beyond to incorporate the outdoor spaces, plant materials, and details I desired, while capturing the beauty of Old Charleston’s grand gardens.
– The project took 2 years to build and landscape, working daily on the design details and finish materials.”
