2016 Pantone Color of the Year: Serenity and Rose Quartz
Like so many people, I get super excited when Pantone announces their color of the year! They really threw me for a loop for 2016....they chose a blend of two colors: Serenity and Rose Quartz!
Joined together, Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.For the last several years I've been sharing pics of the chosen color paired with turquoise. This year was a lot harder, but I tried to come home with some examples! These pretty pastel hues definitely pair beautifully with aqua!
