Labor Day Weekend

Hello! You may have noticed a lack of posts over here in the last six months. I'm trying to get back into the habit of blogging, so I brought my camera along on a couple of outings this weekend. It was lovely to have three days off in a row, and to top it off Ashley was visiting from Philadelphia. On Friday night we met in Japantown, and after an awesome session at Pika Pika (photos to come soon) we enjoyed sushi and karaoke until the wee hours. Matthew and I spent Saturday sleeping in, stopping by a local cafe and spending a few hours at the flea market. We took a day trip to Pacifica on Sunday to get out of the city and do a little antique store shopping. While there we walked along the shore, got sandwiches at Gherkin's, and even saw a small school of dolphins splashing in the waves. Monday we had a mini reunion in the Mission with Ashley, Rachel and Isla for thrift shopping and brunch. We tried a new to us Mexican restaurant called The Little Chihuahua. The tostada salad with grilled veggies really hit the spot. Overall a lovely weekend filled with lovely people. What have you all been up to?
