Packaging

The Modern Princess box is an explosion of passion red, with the logo in white - synonymous with purity. The bottle itself has a metal chain (the symbol of the house Lanvin) wrapped around the ring of the neck. It looks pretty - nothing too fancy or special, yet it has a luxurious touch to it.

The top notes are young and invigorating - apple and red currants. The middle notes are more womanly: jasmine (delicate and carnal) and freesia (fragile and romantic). The base notes enhance that femininity with white musk (for a velvety feel) and vanilla orchid.

I love how the red apple (especially the red apple), red currants and sweet notes so vibrantly come above in the fragrance. It's a really sweet scent, but thanks to the musk it stays on a reasonable level of sweetness.
