I remember this was the day when my friend's tribulations have finally paid off. He passed his nursing licensure examination after having tons of sleepless nights, digging onto different review materials and of course sacrificing a lot of his idle time. I must say, when you really up for something you really have to work for it even if it means that you're going to give up most of your precious time. Everyone knows that at the end of the day, cliche as it may seem, it's going to be all worth it. Ecstatic as he was, he took us (meaning my family and I) to Cold Stone, grabbed some ice cream and voila! We had a mini ice cream party in the middle of New York streets enjoying every bite of it. Passing such a profound examination like this deserves more than an ice cream "street party" right? So, we went to Korean town and we had the greatest performance of our lives in a karaoke bar... or maybe it was just me. Haha. But anyhow this day was filled with so much amusement plus tons of ear deafening voices that only God knows where, when or how we got it.

Let me talk briefly on to my outfit that I wore that fantastic day. I opted to wear a sheer white top to make my shorts as the focal point of this whole outfit. I love how the color of this ensemble made a fashion statement regardless of wearing accessories or not. This was really perfect for casual "street fashion" not to mention how chic and comfortable looking it was.
