Barcelona Photo Diary

My recent trip to Barcelona was one for the books. My sister and I grabbed a last minute flight and headed off to have yet another "Dora" moment together.
Having recently traveled to Anguilla, we of course wanted to see the beach - So we headed straight there from the airport but Barcelona is an incredible city and we wanted to spend our time exploring.

We stayed at the Hotel Catalunya Passeig de Gracia. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room faced the pool and courtyard but was really quiet. The bathroom was gorgeous and honestly if was the first time the water pressure in Europe didn't make me miss my shower at home. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend a stay. Not to mention, the breakfast spread was pretty lush, boy do I miss that coffee!

The church wasn't a fan of my bare shoulders, had to rig my top to cover up the skin, naughty naughty.

It was great to check out stores that I hadn't visited before. I of course had to check out And Other Stories, such a great retail store...lots of fab accessories. No trip to Spain would be complete without a stop into Zara but I opted to visit Zara Home (OMG there is a HOME STORE!) it was soooo good. I didn't go too crazy because carrying fragile home items across the world seemed like a breakable idea.

The Festa de Gracia was a highlight. As street festivals go, pink and purple streamers constitute and automatic win.

Barcelona is a warm city filled with beautiful things to look at and lovely people to get to know. Until next time!
