Hand Chemistry Extreme Hydration Concentrate

After testing out, and falling in love with, the products from the Hand Chemistry range that I reviewed here Hand Chemistry Review the very kind people who make the range got in contact with me and offered to send me their new Extreme Hydration Concentrate product, which has an even higher percentage of active ingredients (24%). Exciting times! I love a good anti ageing product.
The Claims
The ultra concentrated hydration complex contains five hydration active technologies from marine and plant sources that provide deep and lasting hydration of the skin. It claims to offer dramatic visible textural improvements to your skin and to hydrate and provide a barrier to the hands to protect in cold or harsh weather. All of this sounds great for the upcoming Autumn and Winter months.
How Long To Use For?
It is suggested on the packaging that you use this product for 10 days, morning and night and then as needed afterwards. If it works in 10 days, well that's pretty damn quick!
The Scientific Bit
Some of the ingredients in the hand cream are:
Pseudoalteromonas Complex - this is used in anti ageing products becaus eo fit's ability to regenerate and protect the skin by retaining moisture and water, heal wounds, increase collaged and elastin production and improve hydration.
Tremella Fuciformis - a natural alternative to Sodium Hyaluronate found in a special type of mushroom (snow fungus), extremely hydrating and helps to deliver below the surface hydration.
Maize Propanediol - it can attract water from the environment into the skin, therefore helping to keep skin hydrated.
You can see from the ingredients that they have really thought about using new technology and ingredients that are scientifically proven to give results. This product does cost £18.99 but it is money that is actually going to costly ingredients and research rather than just paying for fancy packaging and a designer name.
Overall
I really can't say to be honest what I prefer more, using the two products that I reviewed before or this hand cream, as they both seem to give pretty much the same end result (which is great), they all give you smoother, better textured, younger looking skin which is much more hydrating. So overall I think it depends which type of application you prefer and what type of consistency of product you prefer.
This cream feels more siliconey like a primer, is very light and absorbs very quickly. It is clear. The other cream is a more regular style moisturiser so it's best to test out both and see which consistency you prefer. All of the products in the range really do have results that are visible. There are lots of reviews on the Boots website as well, so you can see it's not just me! The products really do work!
