Carnet de shopping in Milan: Design Republic

While I was strolling through the lovely Milan district of Porta Ticinese {where my apartment was situated}, I came across a new design shop, Design Republic. I immediately thought to make some pictures and share them here on my blog, as I think these kind of shops are absolutely "needed" in this city.
They offer a great selection of big brands, mostly scandinavian but without forgetting the italian icons.
The owner, Marco Mornata, was super kind {and so the shop assistants that babysat Enea!}, he welcomed me and showed me the shop and the collection of sofas designed by himself. They are absolutely gorgeous: I love the shapes and the materials used and the price is really competitive.
I highly recommend to visit the shop if you pass by Milan!

Mentre stavo passeggiando per il grazioso quartiere di Porta Ticinese a Milano {dove era situato il mio appartamento}, mi sono imbattuta in un nuovo negozio di design, Design Republic. Ho subito pensato di fare alcune foto e condividerle qui sul mio blog, siccome credo che questo tipo di negozi siano assolutamente "necessari" in questa città.
Il negozio offre una vasta selezione di grandi marche per lo più scandinave, ma senza dimenticare le grandi icone italiane.
Il proprietario, Marco Mornata, è stato gentilissimo {così come le commesse che hanno intrattenuto Enea!}, mi ha accolto e mi ha mostrato il negozio e la collezione di divani da lui stesso progettati. Sono assolutamente stupendi: adoro le forme e i materiali utilizzati e il prezzo è davvero competitivo.
Consiglio vivamente di visitare il negozio se passate da Milano, ma se siete fuori zona c'è anche lo shop on line.
Adesso non voglio sentire scuse del tipo "ma qui da noi questi negozi non ci sono!" ;)
