Real Party: Sparkle of My Eye Baby Shower (Indulge Party Blog)

My friends Katie, Julie, and Leslie recently threw a baby shower for their bff Sam.

Sam was expecting a girl, and they went all out with sparkles and pink when designing this celebration.

The theme of the shower was “Sparkle of my Eye.” There are so many fun, sparkly details!

The party was held in the backyard.

Guests were greeted by a sparkly beverage bar…

(The sign says “She leaves a little sparkle everywhere she goes”. It was repurposed as art for the nursery!)

…and some light appetizers.

Katie painted mason jars with different shades of pink and shimmery sparkles and placed them all throughout the party space. Pretty, pretty.

The gorgeous place settings included gold beaded chargers and gold flatware. Swoon!

Guest filled out “Wishes for Baby” cards that were tucked into each pink napkin.

Criss-crossing bunting banners hung above the table.

After a lunch of salads and sandwiches, guests were treated to a dessert bar.

Desserts included chocolate cupcakes, macaroons, chocolate dipped Oreo pops, mini ice cream cones, and pink cotton candy in cones.

The chevron fondant toppers on Julie’s cupcakes were adorable.

Between eating and opening gifts, guests did a little crafting and put together headbands for the baby girl.
