Floral Boutique Thank You Cards

Blue is my favorite color so when I saw the new Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper I swooned. It’s full of both fun and beautiful patterns in navy blue and white. Night of Navy if you want to be exact. Almost the same shade of blue as the main wall in our living room, so you know I love it.

When I looked through the paper designs my favorite popped out at me right away. It’s a smaller design of blue flowers with white outlines that are subtle, yet gorgeous. I immediately knew I wanted to pair it with the Thank You and outline from the Rose Wonder stamp set. (Confession: I got that stamp set just for the beautiful greetings and the fun outline shape that goes with them. I have yet to use the actual rose. Same with the coordinating Rose Garden Thinlit Dies – I got them just for that fun little shape to cut out greetings.)

Ok, ok, I know you are saying get on with it already and show us what you made! So here you go…

For my card layout I drew inspiration from this Quick One Sheet Wonder Template. It’s a quick and easy way to make cards with your pretty 12×12 papers. Pretty paper is framed with Whisper White card stock on a Night of Navy card base. Of course I had to flip those around and try it the other way too…

I can’t decide which one I like better. I think the one with the Night of Navy card base, but really I think they are both pretty. How about you? Do you like one better than the other?
