I always think it's helpful to have a few "really good" recipes in my back pocket. These are classic go-to's guaranteed to please a crowd. Really Good Chip Dip:

I love to serve this dip with chips. The fresh herbs in this recipe make it taste so much brighter and fresher than most of those tubs of prepared dip you find at the grocery store.

This dip is also customizable. You can include whatever fresh herbs you like best. Snip a few favorites from your herb garden and get to mixing!

How to Make Chip Dip:

Making this Really Good Chip Dip is simple and fast. Hands-on time is 5-10 minutes.

Toss all the ingredients into a medium bowl. Give them a quick stir to combine and then refrigerate the dip for about an hour. That's it!

As I mentioned above, fresh herbs are what make this chip dip special. I highly recommend them. However, if you're in a pinch, you can substitute dried herbs.

If you do use dried herbs, I recommend cutting back a bit on the amounts since dried herbs have a more potent and concentrated flavor.

I should also mention that you can use light sour cream and light mayonnaise if you want to cut down on calories. I would opt for light instead of fat-free.

Once your dip is ready, you can serve it with your favorite chips.

This Really Good Chip Dip also works well with veggies. (However, if I'm dipping veggies, I prefer my Really Good Veggie Dip.)

Happy Snacking!
