Styling Your Thanksgiving Table
Is it really November? I know that talking about time passing quickly is cliche, but I truly don’t know where the year has gone. As much as I love the winter holidays (I may have put a tree up this past weekend!), I’m also feeling a bit anxious about all that needs to be accomplished over the next 50 days.
As I mentioned last week, I’m going to start talking about the holidays now in hopes of getting ideas out there so you can implement the ones you like with less stress. Since Christmas is really my jam, that’s where my focus will be. However, I also will be posting a few Thanksgiving things (including a fun Friendsgiving piece next week!). In fact, last week over on the HomeGoods Design Happy blog, I shared six ways to add style to your Thanksgiving place settings.
Some of my suggestions are ones you’ve already seen here on IBC, like my DIY fall cork table decor, stamped napkins, and color wrapped wheat. I also tucked in a few new ideas, such as using tags as place cards, making mini rosemary wreaths, and repurposing those cork leaves into placemats.
The goal of that post was to give you a few simple things that can be created in minimal time. Who doesn’t love that. After all, the point of gathering for the holidays, especially Thanksgiving, is to enjoy time with family and friends.
So, if you’re looking for a few creative and colorful ideas, head on over to Design Happy to check out that post here. I hope you’ll be inspired.
