#WorkSmartSnackSmart Wonderful Pistachios Giveaway Winner (Inspired by Charm)

Back in July, I teamed up with my friends at Wonderful Pistachios to give you a look at my new home office, share some smart snacking ideas, and host the #WorkSmartSnackSmart giveaway. Well, last month I hopped on a plane to Boston and set up a pistachio-filled snack area at a dentist's office in the adorable little town of Lincoln, MA. Today, I'm going to show you how it all turned out.

You may remember that Wonderful Pistachios asked people to share an image of their healthy workspace on Instagram. After the contest deadline, a winner was chosen. The winner received a new mini refrigerator along with a year's supply of Wonderful Pistachios products. Pretty good deal, right?

I loved this concept because Wonderful Pistachios truly are a healthy snack to have around the office. They are known as The Mindful Nut. Taking the time to crack each pistachio may help you slow down and savor the moment instead of mindlessly snacking. Pairing the pistachios with fruit and cheese may just be the ultimate satisfying treat.

While I didn't do a major design makeover, I did come bearing decorative accessories to spiff up the winner's space and provide storage for all the pistachios. I also snapped a few before photos so you could see what the space was like when I started.

The snack area was just behind the reception desk. Although the space isn't large, there is room for a small refrigerator, microwave, storage, and a small desk area for eating and more storage.

As you can see, the space also serves as a place for posting work-related flyers and notices.

To make way for the new Wonderful Pistachios refrigerator and caseloads of pistachios and almonds, I first cleaned out the space.

Once there was room, the mini fridge was tucked into place and loaded with bottled FIJI Water. Then, I filled in with a paper towel holder and a few baskets and a cake stand for storage and display.

Next, I brought in as many Wonderful Pistachios and Almonds as I could. I normally wouldn't set out this many snacks at one time, but I thought it'd be a fun for the office staff to see the bounty when they arrived at work the following day. (There were more bags and boxes of pistachios and almonds to refresh this supply when it ran low.)

With all the nutritious and delicious snacks in place, the final step was to add a few decorative accessories, including a new clock, art, and fresh flowers.

It's details like these that make a space feel special and homey.

And with that side dish of style, the grand prize was officially delivered and served!

I love opportunities like this because they allow me to give back to IBC readers. Now, this dentist's office in Massachusetts has baskets and drawers loaded with healthy snacks which will be perfect when hunger strikes.
