Maternity Style - 31 Weeks Pregnant

Another week has flown by, far too quickly in my opinion, June 22nd (otherwise known as D-Day) is rapidly approaching and my usual sense of calm is now tinged with underlying panic. Temporarily ignoring my building fear and since it’s an entirely new week, it must mean it’s time for another maternity outfit post!

Today’s outfit features a dress from H&M’s maternity collection; this is the first purchase I've made from their ‘MAMA’ range. I fell in love with the print and the dress is perfectly cut to flatter your bump without making you look frumpy. I’d actually gone into my local H&M to look for cropped maternity jeans and somehow came out with a dress - the story of my life, but for only £24.99 it was a worthwhile endeavour.

I've worn both the cardigan and the shoes in one of my earlier posts, which I think justifies yet another shopping trip, but my husband disagrees. They’re both purchases from Sainsbury’s TU range and I've gotten plenty of use out of them over the past few weeks. Unfortunately I’m now reaching the stage where I've noticed both my ankles and my feet have begun to swell, so I might not be able to wear the shoes for much longer.

My bag was an absolute bargain buy from TK Maxx; I’d gone to visit a friend down in Canterbury and happened to find myself in her local store. Not somewhere I've shopped at much before, but over the years I like to pop in occasionally to see whether I spot anything good. On this particular occasion they had a stock of bags and shoes from Dune, I spotted the bag instantly as my sister-in-law owns the same style in black. At 50% off the original RRP, it was a bargain that I couldn't miss out on and you can never have too many handbags right?

The necklace is from New Look; I’d actually gone in there to return some other items but couldn't resist looking through their jewellery collection at the same time. I certainly have no shortage of statement necklaces, but one more never hurts and this one I particularly like for the pastel colours that make me think of flowers and candy.

Last, but by no means least is my beautiful new rose quartz bracelet from ROX. Whilst visiting my brother and sister-in-law at the weekend we headed into Leeds for the day to check out the new Trinity shopping centre. Both Lucy and I have matching friendship bracelets from ROX that we bought a few years back, but they’re falling apart and so Darren offered to treat as both to some new bracelets to commemorate our pregnancies. I chose the one above and Lucy went for the blue goldstone version. Happy pregnant wives and sisters all round!
