And Our Story Continues

After what feels like a full day of trying to figure out how to renew my old domain, I am officially back at www.andourstorycontinues.com and couldn't be more excited. When I first started my blog, I wanted to have a place where I could keep up with the changes that Michael and I were and will go through during our marriage and just document our every day life and the story that unfolded.

I started my new blog a few months back because I wanted/needed a blank slate. I had done one too many giveaways and just felt like those had taken over the real reason that I started blogging. When I did that, I left the domain andourstorycontinues which was a huge bummer but I didn't know how else to "start over". I had an attachment to it because I knew that it would lead me through the fun that marriage has to offer and then later on let me discuss children and anything else my little heart desires. After some soul searching and some time off, I knew that domain was meant to be mine and belonged to this blog so I took it away from my old blog and my heart did a little happy dance.

The past 6 months have been a whirlwind. My photography business took off and left me with minimal time for much else other than my full time job, being a wife, and photography. I have absolutely no complaints but I missed this big white box more than I knew. I have met some of my very best friends on this little blog of mine and I have no doubt that I will continue to be encouraged by so many others that I haven't had the chance to meet just yet. Getting my domain switched to this blog makes my heart pitter patter and gets me excited for all that the new year has to bring.

It's crazy that a domain can bring back the excitement to write but to me, it means that the domain truly belongs to me and this little blog. I have so missed the writing, the interacting, the release of a heavy heart after a long day's work. Having this domain back has brought back a spark that I knew was missing and it makes me so happy. So cheers to old domains, new blogs, and a new year to try again.
