What to Pack: Birkenstock Sandals

(Image via the daily covet)

Never in a million years did I think that I'd be shopping for Birkenstock sandals in 2015. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised since everything comes back in style - just like was mentioned in my backpack post. Birkenstocks were big when I was in high school and early on in college, but they were never my personal style. Now in this new cycle, I want a pair. I want more than one pair.

Known for being the most comfortable sandal and lasting forever, they're the ultimate for traveling in. Plus the easy slip on factor. And before the thought of them lacking style can even enter your mind, search for Birkenstock on Pinterest and see the myriad of amazing ways they're being worn. They've turned up on every style blogger that I admire and so many celebrities to boot.

Ready to jump back into some Birks? Here's a round-up of nine pairs that caught my eye (can you believe that some of them are Birkenstocks?)

ONE: Arizona | TWO: Bali | THREE: Madrid
FOUR: Mayari | FIVE: Jakarta | SIX: Rio
SEVEN: Alyssa | EIGHT: Milano | NINE: Gizeh

All (affiliate) links above are to Zappos, which offers free shipping both ways. Try on a couple pairs and see what you think. I'm going to do the same! I was at Madewell the other day and saw flare jeans are now back on trend as well. Who knows what will be next. How do you feel about Birkenstock sandals? Are you still rocking yours from twenty years ago?
