Way Over Yonder Where the Wind Blows Free

Well, that's the end of Summer anyway. If I ever struggled to find enough hours in the day, it's much harder now that the dark nights have set in. There is nothing less appealing than heading out for a walk in the dark wet evening with the dog, but it's the only time I can fit it in to our jam-packed day. A routine has definitely been established though, and we're into the way of school runs and naptime. Luckily, Noah just fits in to whatever we're doing, taking cat naps along the way. We call him Noah-Bother, he's no trouble.

Jack comes out with some crackers now. Like this morning, when he says to me, "I ain't fibbing, Mummy. I'm just joking." I keep meaning to buy a wee book and keep it handy to jot down some of his funny questions, observations and even the lyrics to some of the little songs he makes up. If I don't, we'll just forget them. And they're way too hilarious to not to read out on his wedding day.

During this family walk at the foot of Mount Errigal, Co. Donegal, Jack wore his River Island puffa jacket, American Apparel slim slacks, and Classic Hunter Wellies. I found this sweet little wool beanie in a quaint local shop in Bunbeg.

Off the beaten track
As a keen blogger, my lucky wee men get to test and enjoy some really beautiful clothing from great companies. It's a fab perk. The other week a lovely box from a new company called Box Upon a Time dropped through the letterbox. It's a new kids clothing subscription service. You sigh up, fill in a questionnaire outlining your preferences and taste (favorite colours, patterns, and types of clothing) Then, every month you get a box of goodies, hand picked to suit your little one. The clothing amounts up to £170, and since you pay substantially less per box, you're getting 60% off the clothing RRP. Well, look what was picked for Monsieur Noah. The coziest little thermal merino bodysock babygrow by luxury brand Nui Organics. It can be worn on it's own, as a babygrow, or under clothing to keep warm on the coldest of days. Lovely. Bring on the winter. We're sorted. Thanks so much to Box Upon a Time.
