Review: Z-Palette – Ultimate Customizable Makeup Palette

I’ve gotten to the point I had so many palettes, they took up space! However, some are in very cute packaging, seems like there is a ratio of 60% packaging and 40% product. Single shadows from MAC are everywhere stacked upon each other. Forgetting what colors I have or just forgetting I have it. After searching for a way to downsize and store shadows, I came across this product. The makeup industry is realizing more and more people would rather buy single shadows than palettes. Mind you, for people that want to create their own or simply they don’t offer shades in a palette but only in single pans.

I purchased a “Large” palette with the dimensions of 8.06 x 4.8, which also came with 20pcs of magnetic metal stickers, a mix of round and rectangle . Most the the pans stuck pretty well to the palette.

The palette is made out of sturdy cardboard and come in array of colors and patterns. The front clear window is plastic and the frame has a magnetic closure.

I was able to combine 5 palettes and 6 single MAC shadows. I wrote the names of the colors on the back side of the pans. Even though they stick firmly, it is also easy to pull off when needed.

Overall, this palette is perfect. It’s deep enough so that the shadows don’t fall out and the pans stay put. I will definitely be ordering more, because I still have a few items to declutter. They also offer pans for de-potting lipstick! Putting on makeup has become much easier, as I no long have to open each palette up to see what the colors are.
