excavate is an experiment that considers the dialog between personal media as cultural artifacts and the two dimensional consumption of art, design, and fashion online. the project aims to consider images independent of their actual commodity and temporal context as well as create a space separate from the “curated self” and streams of singular povs. it works to generate cumulative dialogs between images and ideas and create encounters with content in a collaborative environment.
