The Body Shop: Virgin Mojito

Mojitos. Virgin mojitos to be specific. A cool, refreshing and zesty drink to quench your thirst, coincidentally my favourite mocktail and now in the form of the Body Shop’s newest (but unfortunately limited) collection for this summer. Seriously, who’s the genius to come up with this idea?

I know I say this every time the Body Shop unleashes a new range but truly, this time this one has cemented its place as being my favourite – it’s definitely going to take some beating and it smells as delicious as a Virgin Mojito tastes.

There are five products in this skin-quenching range to awaken your senses: Body Scrub* (£15), Shower Gel (£4), Body Sorbet* (£8), Body Butter (£13) and the new Body Splash* (£16). The smell of the zesty lime hits you hard, followed by the slow release of the mint. Together this zingy body cocktail hits the right notes for an invigorating cleanse from head to toe.

I adore citrus flavours and scents so I knew I would love this the moment I caught a whiff of it. My favourites are the Shower Gel (when has the Body Shop done wrong with this?), the cooling Body Sorbet and naturally, the lusciously creamy Body Butter. I’m not too keen on the fragrance Body Splash because it’s inconvenient to use. You’re meant to splash it on (with half of it ending up on the bathroom floor, no doubt). Seriously, I am not in an Old Spice commercial.

The Body Shop dubs the Virgin Mojito collection as ‘happy hour for your skin’. This ain’t no exaggeration. Virgin Mojito is available online and in all Body Shop stores nationwide. Grab it fast before it’s gone for good.
