Well I’ve found a new favorite Etsy shop. Olive The Things shop owner Kimberly has been designing clothes since she was six. Over the years she’s traded Barbie clothes and staplers for toddler clothes and sewing machines. Kimberly gave up the glamorous life of a high school interior design teacher to stay at home with her two babes, and sews during naps and after bed. Her shop specializes in organic cotton knit clothing in baby and toddler sizes. My favorite things include this tiger shirt (obviously), this soft and breezy summer outfit, and this sweet cotton dress. There is not one item I don’t want to ship directly to my kid’s dresser drawers.

PS: 31 years ago today, a small boned Mennonite woman gave birth to her first baby in her bed with no doctor in sight. I’m so glad that baby was born so he could grow up to do things like take out the trash and binge watch Parks & Rec with me. A lover of Fall, a hater of grocery store baked goods, and the kind of guy who will get down to Jay-Z’s 99 problems like any other fool. Happy birthday babe.
