I couldn’t quite believe my eyes when I saw this! Being in London last week, I couldn’t stop myself by popping into Topshop at Oxford Circus and obvs checking out the makeup section. There’s something about Topshop makeup which lures me in, every time. It was when I swatched Topshop’s Metallic Cream Blush in ‘Pulse’ – I just knew there was something special about it. But this ‘something’… I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. It’s just so beautiful, isn’t it? It wasn’t until I got back home and swatched it next to my beloved, MAC’s Stereo Rose that my jaw dropped to the floor. Yes, it’s true – I have finally found a MAC Stereo Rose dupe!

If you haven’t heard of the cult favourite, MAC’s Mineralise Skin Finish in Stereo Rose – where have you been? It caused a big stir few years ago when it first released. I’m not sure why they just don’t make it a permanent thing. Since it’s first release, MAC have released this shade in I believe 2 other collections – both being sold out within a matter of days.

I for one, knew there was something about it, which I just fell in love with, but knew I had seen somewhere before. Finding out that it’s a dupe for my favourite, ever, MAC Mineralise Skin Finish was possibly the best thing that happened last week. It’s then I knew I had to get it photographed immediately to get up on my blog – because sharing is caring, right?

Now from the swatches above, you can tell that they are basically twins but you’ve got to remember that the Topshop dupe is in fact a cream blush – so a very different texture to the MAC MSF Stereo Rose. However, the shade is, I would say, a 99.9% match. What do you think?

I’m probably going to add a couple more of these into my Topshop shopping basket, because I have a feeling they will sell out like hot cakes! And who doesn’t love cake, right?
