What’s on my sewing table
I am currently working on a design to complement the most delicious-premium-japanese-wool-blend-knit e v e r. It drapes so beautifully and feels amazing against the skin. There’s a bit of work involved so I’m taking my sweet time. The colour of this dreamy fabric is something I never thought i’d ever dream of purchasing, it was definitely the fabrics drape and texture that won me over and led me to hand over my sewing budget for the week. I’m looking forward to styling this make up and showing you the outcome. Slow and steady this week, and I’m okay with that.
In other awesome news, I was completely taken aback when I read Lee from The Slow Steady’s post- Kazztastic Style. How cool is that? what a babe she is and what a brilliant make, the fabric is to die for don’t you think? I’m just over the moon to read that I’ve inspired peeps to push themselves to be more ‘fearless’ thanks so much Lee. Earlier this week Loran from Loran’s World posted her Kazz inspired outfit That jacket? oh wow, I would totally swan about town in that number and the colours she chose? dreamy! having spent last year sewing along to challenges over at the Sew Weekly with Loran and Lee, Loran continuously won the Sew Weekly masses over each week with her incredible makes. She is one very clever and focused lady- thanks so much for the shout-out lovely.
…and finally, were you shocked to read that Google Reader is shutting down as much as I was? I guess Bloglovin it is. I can tell by the number of emails popping into my inbox that it could be your new reader too. I’m chuffed to see so many followers plugging in to see what goes on around here every week, anyways must get back to finishing this garment off. She’s looking pretty rad so far.
