I’m A Newly Minted Goddess

I wasn’t sure how I would feel about these goddess braids I randomly tried with my hair recently but after seeing how the simple hairstyle impacted my style, I’m in love.

OMG, why didn’t you kuties tell me how great goddess braids are. I LOVE THEM! They are so easy and carefree- perfect for in-between washes and lazy days. I didn’t think I could accomplish this style being on the #trackteam but my mentee made it happen. As much as I love these braids, I do think they make me look like the little black girl from the Matilda movie. #realtalk Kute, right? I was a little concerned how they would compliment my style. You know, I didn’t want to look like a little 10 year old or a milk maid but I think it was a great compliment to my style. Did I say I love it? Add to the look my signature dark lips for the season and I think this hairstyle could be a keeper- expect to see it a lot like often.
