My Shopping Strategy For Sold Out Items

I know it’s getting hot out but I couldn’t resist getting a post in with this jacket I scored on my recent trip to Arizona. I mean, it’s kinda fly. Pun intended.

I had my eye on this jacket for some time. Being the frugalista that I am I waited for it to go on sale and of course it sold out. You win some and you loose some. Such is the chance you take when you refuse to pay full price. But then I found it in Arizona. That’s exactly why I like to pop into the same stores when I shop in new places. Sure, it’s nice to check out local boutiques and places unique to the area but I like to visit my favorites. Ya know, Zara, H&M, Forever 21, my norm.

Every store has different stock. An item that’s sold out in one location could be fully stocked in another location or better yet, on sale. What sells out in Target NYC, is in overstock upstate NY. Every location in a chain store is unique and special to that area. That’s how I scored this jacket in Arizona. Ain’t it kute? Idk why I didn’t just buy it when I first saw it but thankfully it’s now mine and in the kloset.

You already know how I feel about jumpsuits. They’re as necessary as LBD’s in the kloset. This one is my favorite as of later and as been in heavy rotation.

If shopping other locations doesn’t help me, there’s always poshmark.
