How To Wear Gingham Like a Style Icon

Last summer my favorite purchase was this this gingham top and skirt. Along with stripes, gingham is my favorite summer pattern. It just feels so fresh but with a nostalgic twist. Gingham was made for picnicking, bike riding and frolicking in flower fields (clearly). If you’re as gingham obsessed as I am, I’ve rounded up my favorite gingham pieces this season, with some inspiration on how to wear the peppy pattern like a style icon.

Pink gingham dress | Gingham skirt (more gingahm skirts here, here, here, here here) | Gingham top (also here) shorts (also here ) | Blue gingham dress

Audrey Hepburn knew the power of gingham. Here are some cute gingham pants in blue and in black here here.

Elizabeth Taylor also knew her way around gingham. J.Crew has cute gingham button-downs.

Can a girl ever have too many gingham shirts? A few sleeveless options here here.

Kate Moss knows a thing or two about gingham. Here are some cute gingham shorts a matching top.

And there’s no denying the power of a gingham dress. Two great options HERE HERE.

This mini shift is super cute too. More cute gingham dresses here, here, here, here, here, here and here. And in red gingham here here.

And can we talk about this floor-length gingham dress? I imagine wearing it to play hostess while serving drinks from my bar cart.

Love the yellow version too.

Do you love gingham as much as I do?

Here are more gingham pieces I’d love to scoop up:
