Checks Please

It has been pretty chilly these last few days so I'm getting to wear some of my warmer pieces I bought in the fall. You know, the pieces that the rest of you get to wear in say November? Ah yes, those things. Like this jacket. I love this jacket but when I wore it in November, I got way too warm and ended up taking it off for the rest of the day. But this weekend was perfect for a thick wool jacket so I knew exactly what to reach for. The good news is it's suppose to warm up this week to patio weather. This is why I live in Texas; I only have to flirt with winter, I don't actually have to date it.
I picked up some new skinny jeans over the holidays with my christmas money and gift cards (best gifts ever). I had purchased some Paige denim this summer at Nordstrom's anniversary sale in a boyfriend fit and loved them. So I decided on a super soft pair of skinny jeans for spring. (I know it's just January, but I'm keeping hope alive.)
