Flower Power

I promise I don't wake up on Fridays and think I've got to wear something floral. I swear it just happens. Maybe it's my subconscious because I've mentioned Floral Friday one too many times. My brain is just wired for floral on Fridays. But I like it, so I'm just going to roll with it. Fridays are made for florals -- who could say no to a nice happy print to start the weekend with?
I'd been on the lookout for some distressed black skinny jeans this fall with just the knees ripped. This is a specific request and while I did find these here (same brand as what I'm wearing here and at such a good price) I realized that I owned two pair of similar black jeans so why not just distress them on my own? So I did. This morning, possibly while still wearing them. I don't suggest this but it worked just fine. Because I'm lazy and didn't want to take them off to measure / cut properly, but I was able to get the cut right at my knee. Again, do not take a pair of scissors to your knees. Take your jeans off and measure them. There is a reason why this blog does not have a DIY section.
