It’s a new week in fashion and Kingstonstyle has your fashion news ready. Every week we bring you the Weekly Style, giving you the latest in fashion and style news from around the globe and from style savvy Jamaicans at home and abroad. This week on Weekly Style:

- Just when we thought it was the end of the, well, thread, for Jamaica’s fashion design show, Mission Catwalk, producer and host Keneea Linton shared a sneak peek on set of the show’s fourth season, “The High Fashion Edition.”

- The Jamaican Reggae Girlz are getting considerable support from Cedella Marley to meet their goal of attending the 2015 Women’s World Cup next year. Marley, who recently showed her support for the Reggae Girlz in her collection at CFW 2014, has now helped develop a crowd funding campaign with considerable kickbacks for any lofty donations that will help to reach their $50,000 US goal (hehem, a Bob Marley tee signed by Usain Bolt.)

- Bohemian Trails, a travel site for the millennial generation, recently took an excursion to the North Shore of Jamaica and visited the showroom of Montego Bay designer, Pablo Palair, as part of the Meet The People program.

- For all you budding Jamaican designers out there, The Collection Moda team is inviting you to apply for the First Global MODA Grant. The winner of the grant will receive $250,000 J, two Singer sewing machines, a Samsung tablet and a workshop at JBDC.

- The purveyors of streetwear news, Hypebeast, recently did an interview with British filmmaker Wonford St. James on his short film in collaboration with the release of the House of Marley “Get Together” bluetooth speaker. In the interview St. James discusses his inspirational experience with Jamaican soundsystems and his trip to Kingston to film the short promotional video. The House of Marley worked with four filmmakers to capture the mood of the “Get Together” bluetooth speaker in Jamaica and New York.
