Amara Glam Event: Doll Makeup Details

Hola dolls!

Today I will be sharing with you how I got this overly glamorous makeup look! Some may say this is a lot, but to me makeup is art, so if you like it… then go for it girlfriend! I went ahead and did top and bottom lashes to create the effect of bambie-doe-eyes aka super big peepers! I used a few new products for this look, including a fabulous new full coverage foundation by Camo Cosmetics! I always get asked how long it takes me for looks, most of the time not super long, but for this look it took me around 45 minutes because I wanted it to be really detailed and precise! Hope you all enjoy and get a few pointers out of this post!

Eyes: This look is a mix between cut crease and smokey eye. I wanted to do more gray tones on my eyes because I usually use a lot of browns. Gray looks beautiful on green and blue eyes the most, but I still feel like it can be worn on any eye tone. I added lashes to top and bottom to really OPEN up the eyes and create almost a doll-like look!

Shadows: Makeup Geek Shadows: Vanilla Bean {on entire lid} | Mercury {On main lid/inner corner} | Bling {in tear ducts} | Stealth {In outer crease} | Graphite {In arch crease} | Galaxy {in outer corner blended into liner}

I was turned on to Makeup Geek shadows by Jaclyn Hill from YT. She highly suggested them and compared their quality to MAC shadows but more affordable {$5.99}. So I ordered a custom palette and have been SO impressed by these! Check them out HERE!

Liner: Givenchy Couture Precision liquid $30 – This liner gets super close to the lash line to hide the base of the lashes- it also is super smooth and the applicator is fairly easy to control. Start at the inner corner and work your way out. I rounded out the ends of each eye instead of doing a straight-up wing.

Lashes {top}: Flutter Lashes in “Paige” and “Miley” STACKED – of course! So these are a new style to me, I am a bit of a lash-hoe and get stuck in the rut of wearing my same favorites but I wanted to try some new styles and I couldn’t be more obsessed with these. This is the perfect combo of whispie and dramatic!

Bottom lashes: Huda Beauty “Alyssa” Lashes or Individual lashes

Cream eyeliner: Anastasia BH Pro Pencil - I have found that this works amazing in the waterline – it adds a nice white/cream color and opens the eyes beautifully!

Brows: Anastasia brow pomade in Soft brown - I finally found that Soft Brown is my perfect shade in the ABH brow pomade. This stuff is tricky to use at first but the trick is that you need to use as little of product as possible first and start at the outer corners of the brow working your way towards the front.

Lipstick foundation: Buxom True Nude Lip Foundation in “Undressed” - This stuff is Ah-mazing. If you want a good lip color that mutes out your natural lip tone and give a perfect nude, these lip foundations are fabulousO! They have about 6 different shades of nude. I found this mauve pink to look best on me!

Gloss: Optional- I like to top my lips off with a shimmering gloss by none other than Buxom “Yoo Hoo” - a great shimmering nude!

Foundation used was Camo Cosmetics in “Earth yellow” - This is a full coverage foundation without using a lot of product. This foundation is different than anything I have ever used- it is very liquidy but goes on and dries instantly – I am in love with the way it makes my skin look. I would suggest it for oil-combination skin mostly but if you are dry and are interested, check it out!

Blusher: Marc Jacobs “Outspoken” – this was gifted to me from a client and I am just in LOVE with the color for summer. A little goes a long way with MJ products so just dust a little on with a stippling brush!

Highlighter: My all time favorite at the moment is Opal from BECCA! Just go buy it if you haven’t already! Glam glow galore!

Face details… I have full contour details posted HERE for this look!

PS . The claws are painted with Lime Crime polish in “Milky Way” <3
