ONE RED DRESS, FIVE WAYS

In 2011, I visited Porto for my sister’s wedding, and it was right during sale season. Needless to say, I was super excited. I got this red dress from Blanco for €10 and I thought it was a good deal, even without predicting that the cost-per-wear would be like 10 cents by 2015. I wore it so many times, it’s almost embarrassing. The sleeveless dress comes with pockets, buttons on the chest and a lovely scallop detail. The fitted skirt is not what I normally wear, but in this case it mysteriously works. Wearing it by itself is an eye-catching outfit. But since I like to wear it in colder months as well, I’ve tried various blouses and shirts underneath. My favorite has to be the puffy short sleeve below – the dress looks completely changed! Belts are also a good accessory for this dress, and I especially like it with the animal print one. Another thing about this red number – it can be dressed up or down and still look good. What can I say, it’s precious.

Your turn: do you have a dress that can get you out of any outfit situation?
