PUT SOME COLOR ON // PEGGY DOW, 1950S

Since we talked about riding a bike to work recently, why not talk about summer biking too? Today’s inspiration comes from actress Peggy Dow, whose brief career in the late 1940s left us with some beautiful pictures. I especially like this one, in which she rides a bike in the cutest, easiest outfit: plain t-shirt, high-waist pants, straw hat and canvas sneakers. It’s comfortable, it’s lightweight, and it’s all you need to get your bike out this weekend.
