This sunflower card is perfect for any fall card sending purpose!

Something that is wonderful about this sunflower card is that it is perfect for a man or a woman, for celebration or consolation, for a special reason or just to say hello. The grouping of not-too-difficult to make but gorgeous sunflowers with some simple die cut greenery over those white on white background details means they really POP so all you have to do is add any greeting and you’ve got a perfect card.

The Sunflower Card Base, Cover and Frame

Use white cardstock to cut an A2 sized card base and the Lattice Cover.
Cut the Marquee layer using white cardstock.
Line up the next size smaller Marquee die on the white layer, secure it in place with masking tape and cut it out.
Line up the smaller Marquee die on the Lattice white cover, secure it in place with masking tape and cut out the frame opening.
Apply pieces of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attach it to the opening on the Marquee cover.
Apply strips of mounting tape all the way around the border of the cover and the back of the frame opening and attach it to the card base.
Note: I wanted to create the Marquee frame because it is so close to the shape of the cover pattern. As it turned out I covered most of it up the foliage. LOL!

The Sunflowers

Cut three sets of the second and third sized flower dies using yellow cardstock. Two larger and one smaller for each flower.
Use brown cardstock to cut the three flower centers.
Color the flower petals and centers using Citrus and Pumpkin inks and mini applicators.

Place the flowers face down on the molding pad and roll and form he petals using a round stylus.

Turn the flowers face up on the molding pad and push down gently in the center to for the petals up.

Assemble the three flower sections together using glossy accents and making sure to offset each layer for a natural appearance.
Apply a small piece of mounting tape to the back of each circle and attach to the flower centers.

Arrange the Flowers and Foliage

Use green cardstock to cut several sections of the Large Ivy.
Place the ivy sections face up on the molding pad and push down in the center of each leaf using the leaf tool.
Cut the branch sections of the Half Tree using brown cardstock.
Attach several sections of the ivy to the open frame area of the card base using glossy accents.
Apply a generous amount of glossy accents to the back of the flowers and attach them to the ivy and card base.
Tuck the branches under the flowers and ivy and attach using glossy accents.
