Week roundup

First of all: I discovered the best ice cream in Berlin. And the best ice cream I have EVER had in my life. I’m not kidding. It’s from a small place called Cuore Di Vetro in Mitte, just around the corner from my office. It’s fresh, homemade and organic and the two scoops I’ve had were cheesecake and dark chocolate sorbet. I still can’t get over how amazing it was. My work week only had three days and on Thursday we had a massive house party for May 1, right in the middle of Kreuzberg. On top of all that, my former flatmate was still here and we went to his art exhibition in a bunker somewhere in Schöneberg, I hung out with W. and L. a lot, met new people who were trying to convince me that I should become a journalist, finally set up my next tattoo appointment (less than two weeks, I can’t wait!), had really nice curry and rum and cokes with friends last night and today was the first day I finally got to sleep in. I love being busy because it gives me less time to think but at the same time I just need time on my own. A lot of time. I’m not that much of a loner per se and I can be quite social if I want to but without that one day a week that I spend entirely in my bed and/or room I would probably go insane.
