Oh hi. Remember how, almost about a year ago, I said I wasn't feeling too great about style blogging? Well, things have changed, and it turns out I kind of missed it. I missed having a creative outlet, and I missed documenting my style. So you may be seeing the style component of this blog come back, just a little.
It's funny how my style has evolved in the past year or so. Working at Madewell (Now approaching a year and a half with the company! Although I only work Saturdays now) has probably been the biggest influence here. My values changed when it came to my wardrobe - instead of having lots of trendy pieces to mix and match, I wanted no-fail basics that I could wear together effortlessly. So that's what you'll be seeing from now on. And I think this outfit is pretty representative of that mindset.
This dress is from Madewell - it's called the Sweatshirt Dress and it certainly lives up to its name. It's definitely the comfiest dress I've ever owned. (It's sold out online right now, but keep checking back - this is one that they keep bringing back!) You can add a pop of color with bold accessories, or pair it with neutrals like I did with a bright lip. Super easy to wear, just the way I like it.
