Jet Set: The Colony Palms Hotel

Hello LDV readers! Brendan here of B.A.D | Blog About Design. With Coachella currently happening, I wanted to take us to the Colony Palms Hotel is Palm Springs, California. The Colony Palms is a 56-guest suite inn that is conveniently located near the shopping and entertainment area. The hotel is designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard and has a Moroccan feel. (ABOVE) The lobby is super inviting and has that boutique hotel feel. I love the intricate wood work, textures, and patterns.

(Above) The Colony is also a popular place for weddings. How pretty is this set up adjacent the outdoor pool?

(Above) The grounds are wonderfully maintained and landscaped.

(Above) The pool area is incredible. You’ll find plenty of areas to relax and can even order a drink or two at the pool bar. What a beautiful view of the mountains!

(Above) With 56 guest suites, you are sure to find the perfect one. All the suites have a Moroccan feel and are light and bright. I just love how inviting this suite is.

(Above) Off the above suite is this fantastic terrace.

(Above) The Purple Palm restaurant is located adjacent the pool. Come here for a great mix of seafood and grilled options.

(Above) And after a great dinner enjoy a cocktail!
