2014 Beauty Favourites

It's the final countttdooooowwwnnnn!

With less than 24 hours left of 2014, what better way to conveniently forget the negative things that happened than focussing on the completely shallow items that did make my 2014 a bit more brighter.

Let's do this!

Ultraceuticals - Ultra UV Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF 50

I've become an evangelist for using moisturisers with sunscreen as it's the best form of anti-aging, and of course has the benefit of protecting your skin from the harsh Australian sun. I've had no issues using Ultraceuticals despite having sensitive skin and this has a whopping SPF of 50.
Size: 100ml Price: $65 Where: Ultraceuticals

Neutrogena - Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover

I'm a fan of liquid/gel eyeliners, the problem is that they are notoriously difficult to remove. Until now. This makeup remover makes it damn easy with minimal rubbing, leaving me with happy peepers.
Size: 112ml Price: $10.89 Where: Priceline

Glam by Manicare False Eyelashes - Jessica and Taylor

I've got extremely shy eyelashes (they're insanely short), so I have completely embraced using false eyelashes. My absolute favourite pair of lashes in the universe (big statement, I know!) is the Taylor inspired by my not so guilty please, Taylor Swift. These are the most 'natural' looking pair from Manicare, they're light and the perfect length, long enough to notice but not too dramatic.
On the other hand we have Jessica, these lashes aren't too out there but compared to the Taylors and for newbies, they are. They also happen to be my favourite as they stand out in selfies more than the Taylors as their thicker and longer.

Size: 1 pair/2 pairs Price: $11.99/$16.99 Where: Priceline

Scout Cosmetics - Nail Polish

I don't own a base coat (#shockhorror) so I'm pretty happy that Scout cosmetics came up with their 'Dual Top & Base' something that does both. Because truth be told, I'd double up anyways!
I am also obsessed with blue, and love this metallic blue shade, You Oughta Know inspired by Alanis Morisette's classic. I'm also a massive fan of 80's & 90's music, so pretty much this entire range gets a major tick from me!
Size: 12ml Price: $19.95 Where: Scout Cosmetics

Face of Australia - Glossy Lip Crayon

A bit of colour on your lips, and no mirror needed? This is perfect for touch ups, and those who are 'blessed' to use public transport this is ma-jah!
Despite this being red, the colour is noticeable but not too intense compared to lipstick it's perfect for those who are intimidated by lipsticks as well!
Size: 3.8g Price: $7.95 Where: Priceline, Fashion Addict

Tangle Teezer - Salon Elite Brush

I've drafted up a review, but 2014 has rolled by so quickly here's an overview of why I love it. It is super gentle on my head, and the big tick from me is that it's really easy to remove the hair from the brush (#gross).
Price: $29.95 Where: Priceline, Tangle Teezer

Benefit - Gimme Brow

I've tried to find an alternative favourite brow product that's more affordable, but ladies and gents, you really do get what you pay for. This continues to be my favourite brow product ever. It's super easy to use, fair/medium is a great shade for me (could potentially be too dark for those a bit paler) and looks natural.
Size: 3g Price: $32 Where: Benefit, Myer, Adore Beauty, Sephora
