Must have blogger books

Lately more and more design bloggers are trying their hand at writing and publishing their own coffee table books. And it makes total sense, they have a great eye for detail and design and generally know all the insider info.

These are the top 4 blogger coffee table books on my wishlist…

The New Bohemians has just been released this week and it looks as though it’s going to be a real winner. Written by LA based designer and blogger, Justina Blakeney, and photographed by Dabito. The book showcases 20 homes that embody that cool Bohemian style, along with DIY projects and a plant encyclopedia. Just looking at these few images from the book make me want to head to the nursery and get plant shopping right away.

Love these ombre curtains from Adam Pogue’s home featured in The New Bohemians.

Another appealing book is Maker Spaces by Emily Quinton, a London based photographer and blogger, with photography by Helen Cathcart. Emily features the homes and studios of inspiring makers and designers. There’s also a section on making a living out of your creations, with tips from each of the makers.

Of course another book I need to own is Will Taylor’s book, Bright Bazaar: Embracing colour for Make-You-Smile style. I’ve been a long time fan of Will and his blog and his fabulous eye for colour. This book is sure to lift your spirits and your home!

The last book on my list is See San Francisco written by the fabulous Victoria Smith of SF Girl by Bay. I absolutely love Victoria’s blog and sense of style and since San Francisco is on my travel bucket list, this book is going to be a must! Organized by neighborhood, each chapter features enchanting photos of hidden corners, local color, landmarks, and hot spots. You can pre-order yours here.

So do you have any other favourite blogger coffee table books to add to the list?
