blank space / a slow start to 2015

The blank space on my wall planner, desk planner, daily journal & daily to-do list is a pretty accurate reflection of the way I began 2015. Disorganised. It’s been a lot of focussing on work (the paid kind) and catching up on sleep in my down time, and not much else. Today is the first day I’ve felt like I was able catch my breath. As is always the case, I couldn’t begin to get my mind clear until I got my surroundings clear. That was a pretty solid couple of days of pulling everything out from my wardrobe, sorting and re-arranging and throwing out bits and pieces as I rifled through drawers. It’s the first time I was able to come into this little office with a sense of purpose, to actually be able to begin to think about doing shit. I didn’t start this year knowing what I wanted to achieve, I don’t know what I’m aiming for yet. But I’m ready to start thinking about it.

I finally started filling in some of that blank space.
