For today’s story I teamed up with Kérastase to create a unique braided hairstyle to celebrate the launch of their Couture Book of Braids.

Even with short hair there’s a lot of braided styles that can be created to compliment a variety of looks. For this particular style I decided on something that felt bohemian but still sophisticated. A perfect look for a beach day that lasts long into the night. Lauren, the stylist, created a messy chignon by weaving and pinning back different sized braids in the back and added a stunning 5 strand braided crown in the front. She used the Kérastase Couture Styling V.I.P. volumizing texturizing spray to give my hair a beachy texture and finished off with a good does of bobby pins to keep everything in place. The look turned out beautifully and only got better as the day turned into night.
