As peony season comes to an end you can find these beautiful blooms on sale at your local grocery store. I found these stunners at a Safeway, but I’ve also seen them at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods (for a fraction of the price at a flower shop). I picked a few garden flowers to compliment them and created a simple arrangement for my mother-in-law’s bedroom.

Pro Tip: If your peonies are closed put them in warm water and they will open in just a few hours.
