A day in Peterborough
On Saturday myself and my Mum decided to take a drive down to Peterborough to have a girly night with my Auntie. I used to always back out of trips like this simply because I used to love my own company and the security of just staying in but recently I've been loving a bit of spontaneity as I find they make for the best of memories so I'm really glad I took the trip.
We spent most of the day listening to old country music (we do this a lot) and dancing, laughing and watching funny wedding videos to give us ideas for my Auntie's wedding next year. I laugh so much when I'm with these two beautiful women and I love that they just accept that my head will forever be in the clouds and not quite down here where it's meant to be. On Sunday we pottered around the local Garden Centre *thanks Mum* and after buying lots of toot that no one would ever really need we heading on home. A journey which consisted of me falling asleep and being woken up by my dear Mother opening her car window on the M11 and scaring me senseless.
